We process your data for the purpose of managing contacts from evangelization events, communicating with you, and statistical evaluation of events. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or the legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) during the transitional period before consent is obtained.
We process: first name, last name, phone, email, city, notes, and any meeting or business card photos.
The Cfan FollowApp mobile application uses the following permissions:
android.permission.CAMERA) – exclusively for scanning paper forms and business cards via OCR. Photos remain on the device and are uploaded to the app only when the user attaches them to a contact.The app does not track location, does not share data with third parties for advertising, and does not collect data outside the context of a designated event.
Your data is accessible only to team members according to their role. Data is stored on Google Firebase servers in the EU (region europe-west1). Firebase Authentication stores user login data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We retain data for the duration of consent, up to 3 years from the last contact. Without consent within 30 days, data will be anonymized. Anonymized records are used for statistics only.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise your rights, contact jfolbrecht@cfan.org. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is controlled by a role-based system. The application requires authentication and an invitation to access data.
Users may request deletion of their account and all associated data by emailing jfolbrecht@cfan.org. Data will be deleted within 30 days of receiving the request.
